Description
Northern Ireland’s requirement for Balancing Gas Services (Balancing Gas Sell and Balancing Gas Buy) is being tendered by Premier Transmission for an initial period from 1st October 2026 until 30th September 2027 with the possibility of extension to 30th September 2029 on behalf of GNI (UK), the Gas Network Operator for Northern Ireland.
The Balancing Gas Sell service involves the sale of gas into the Northern Ireland gas network to maintain network pressure and balance. The Balancing Gas Buy service involves the purchase of gas from the Northern Ireland gas network to maintain network pressure and balance.
