Description
The Dounreay Wet Silo contains solids and sludges stored under water in a below ground vault, split into 2 hydraulically linked compartments. The volume of liquor is estimated to be between 150m3 – 200m3. NRS Dounreay is investigating an option to provide a modular liquor treatment capability to treat the silo liquor prior to discharge.
