Tender CPU7327 Laura Chambers Lodge New Build Development Nottingham City Council

Design and construction of an estimated 12 houses and 40 flats at former Laura Chambers Lodge Care Home Site at 29 Swansdowne Dr, Clifton, Nottingham NG11 8HW.

The development site will deliver a mix of house types to respond to local housing need, including family homes and accessible flats. The houses will be traditional two-storey construction with gardens and off-street parking. The flats will be located within a single block, designed to high accessibility standards, with communal entrances, refuse storage, secure cycle storage, and appropriate levels of car parking. The construction of all dwellings is traditional Design and Build.

The Contractor must hold the following minimum insurance levels; if a tenderer does not currently meet some or all of the required levels of insurance they may instead confirm in their tender that they commit to obtaining the required insurance(s) should they be awarded the contract:

• Employer’s Liability: £5,000,000 (where required by law)

• Public Liability: £5,000,000

• Professional Indemnity: £10,000,000
